I see reference to HMS Pengail, and the commanding officer being Lt R J Draycott. I have information that on 13 Feb 1942 this vessel left Singapore with two officers on board: Lt Norman Bell and Lt Derek Bigley. A few days later it was handed over to Dutch forces in Pekanbaru. The two naval officers and the British soliers they had evacuated continued overland to Padang.
